Job summary
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Nursing Aide to provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, and daily activities for home-based patients. You will work under supervision with RNs to monitor progression and support families.
Requirements include a valid driver license, CNA or home health aide certification, and clean registry status. Experience in home health or hospice is preferred, with dependable transportation and CPR certification.
Qualifications
- Must have 1 year+ full-time direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility).
- Must have 1 year direct client care in a home health or hospice setting within the last five years.
- Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
- Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care activities including changing bedding and clothing, bathing, and hygiene routines.
- Instruct families on basic health-care routines to care for terminally ill relatives.
- Regularly consult with supervising RNs regarding patient progression and family needs.
