Job summary

Anchor Health is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide to support patients and families under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will perform personal care tasks and promote comfort while upholding ethical, respectful communication and confidentiality.

Must hold CNA and HHA licenses; responsibilities include baths, oral hygiene, linen changes, dressing, and assisting with daily routines, within a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate positively with patients and families while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide personal care tasks and promote patient comfort according to plan of care.
• Demonstrate respectful interaction with patients, families, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and linen changes.
• Help with dressing and undressing as assigned.
• Respect patient and family environment and personal needs.
• Follow assignments and report limitations to Case Manager when unable to perform tasks.
• Provide compassionate, ethical care under supervision of a registered nurse.
