Apploi in New Jersey is seeking a NJ Certified Hospice Aide to support patient comfort under RN supervision. You will perform personal care tasks, assist with baths, oral hygiene, dressing, and feeding as directed, while ensuring safety and respecting patient dignity.

You will document observations, report changes to the RN Case Manager, assist with mobility and transfers, and provide respite for families when on-site. A state-certified CNA license and related hospice experience preferred.

Formación

• Must have a state-approved certified nursing assistant course and current license.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Understanding hospice philosophy and comfort providing specialized care to the terminally ill.
• Prior hospice, orderly, acute, rehabilitative, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills to document in EMR.
• At least 18 years of age and valid driver with insured vehicle.
• Reliable to report to the RN Case Manager and comply with policies.

Responsabilidades

• Perform personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, and changing linens.
• Assist in dressing, feeding, and mobility as assigned by the nurse.
• Provide safety and monitor patient skin integrity and comfort.
• Report pain, changes in condition, or concerns to the RN Case Manager.
• Assist with ambulation, ROM, and transfers as directed.
• Offer bedpan/urinal assistance and light homemaker tasks as assigned.
• Maintain patient area clean and uphold documentation standards.
• Provide respite for patient, family, or caregiver when on-site.
