Job summary

Safe Life Home Health Care is seeking dedicated CNAs to join our team and make a meaningful impact in our community. As a CNA at Safe Life HHC, you'll assist home health patients with daily activities, ensuring comfort and well-being.

Location: Will County, IL; Hours: Full-time/Part-time. Responsibilities include ADLs, mobility support, vital signs, medication reminders, nutrition, hygiene, observation, and EMR documentation (Kinnser by WellSky).

Qualifications

• Active CNA certificate is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Compassion and kindness are essential.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance are required.
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Kinnser by WellSky) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility support and assist with transfers and walking.
• Monitor and document vital signs and other health indicators.
• Give medication reminders and support adherence to schedules.
• Assist with meal preparation and monitor dietary needs.
• Document care in the EMR (Kinnser by WellSky) accurately.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Maintain safe and infection-controlled environment.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments as needed.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and safety.
