Job summary

JEVS Care at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their daily activities in their own homes. You will follow care plans, participate in training such as CPR and dementia care, and help clients maintain independence in a respectful, supportive environment.

The role includes completing orientation, examinations, and ongoing education, with emphasis on safety, HIPAA compliance, and quality of life for clients served by JEVS Care at Home.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• Nurse Aide certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of the independent living philosophy.
• Complete competency exam after training and orientation; annual recertification thereafter.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA regulations.
• Complete instrumental activities of daily living per the client’s Plan of Care.
