Job summary

JEVS Care at Home seeks a compassionate Caregiver to assist clients with daily living per their care plans, helping maintain independence. Training and PPE are provided to support success.

You will perform ADL support, receive CPR/First Aid and Dementia training, and complete annual recertification. Must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and US work authorization.

JEVS Care at Home is dedicated to quality, safe in-home care with ongoing education and support for staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Must pass JEVS Care at Home exam and orientation with 80%+ on post-orientation test.
• US citizen or authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of and encourage independent living.
• Attend competency exam after training and orientation; annual recertification thereafter.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Perform instrumental activities of daily living per client’s Plan of Care.
