Job summary

JEVS Care at Home in the United States seeks a dedicated Caregiver to support clients per their care plan, promoting independence. Training on ADL, PPE, CPR/First Aid, and dementia care are provided, with ongoing competency checks and annual recertification.

The role includes completing instrumental activities of daily living, maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA, and participating in required orientations. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Must satisfactorily complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation program 80% passing score on post-orientation exam.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living as indicated by care plans.
• Provide training and tools to succeed, including ADL training and PPE access.
• CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training provided as Professional Development.
• Demonstrate understanding of independent living philosophy.
• Complete competency examination after training and orientation; annual recertification.
