Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Wellness Home Services Caregiver to provide compassionate care to residents in independent living. You will assist with daily living activities, ensuring safety and dignity while monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes to supervisors.

The role requires a High school diploma or equivalent, HHA training, and CPR certification (or plan to obtain). A valid driver’s license and insurance may be needed for resident transport during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program, or equivalent verifiable training and experience that meets all applicable state requirements.
• Minimum of three months’ hands-on caregiving experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Current CPR certification (or obtain within three months of employment).
• If responsible for transporting a resident, must maintain a valid state driver’s license and provide proof of current automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to residents within independent living.
• Provide direct, hands-on assistance with daily living activities while prioritizing safety, comfort, and dignity.
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being and report changes to supervisors for proactive care.
