Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities in Florida is seeking a Wellness Home Services Caregiver to deliver compassionate, hands-on care to residents in independent living, assisting with daily activities while prioritizing safety, comfort and dignity.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an HHA training program, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license; three months of caregiving experience is preferred and team members receive a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program, or equivalent verifiable training and experience that meets all applicable state requirements.
• Minimum of three months’ hands-on caregiving experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Current CPR certification (or obtain within three months of employment).
• If responsible for transporting a resident, must maintain a valid state driver’s license and provide proof of current automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to residents within independent living.
• Provide direct, hands-on assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, mobility, etc.).
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting changes to supervisor to support proactive and personalized care.
