Valley Home Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support individuals in their own homes, helping with daily living activities, safety, and comfort to maintain independence. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, providing companionship, monitoring changes in condition, and aiding mobility as needed, while following HIPAA guidelines and ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

Experience in caregiving with personal care, cooking, and housekeeping.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a care team.
Dependable, patient, and attentive to client needs.
Commitment to providing high-quality care.
No certification required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to create a positive and respectful environment.
Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior.
Assist with mobility, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning.
Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines when handling client information.
