Job summary

Valley Home Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to support clients in their own homes, helping with daily living activities and ensuring safety and comfort.

No formal certification required; strong attitude and sense of responsibility are valued. You will provide companionship, assist with ADLs, monitor changes, and communicate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Strong caregiving abilities, including personal care, cooking, and housekeeping.
• Ability to work independently while also communicating effectively with a care team.
• Dependable, patient, and attentive to client needs.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care.
• No certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to create a positive and respectful environment
• Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior
• Assist with mobility, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines when handling client information
