Job summary

Valley Home Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support clients in their homes. The role emphasizes independence, safety, and well-being, with no prior certification required and a focus on the right attitude and responsibility.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, monitor client changes, assist with mobility, and help with light housekeeping, all while maintaining client confidentiality and working with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care is helpful but not required.
• No certification required.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with a care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal prep.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to create a positive home environment.
• Monitor changes in client condition and report them to the team.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
