Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide daily living assistance and personal care to patients in their homes under an established plan of care. You will support baths, hygiene, mobility, and safety while documenting observations for the supervising nurse.

This role offers part-time hours with flexibility to create your own schedule, and a competitive hourly wage. CPR certification and Maxim competency completion are required per regulations.

Qualifications

• Provides compassionate in-home care.
• Able to read and follow written care plans.
• Effective communication with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities per care plan (bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding).
• Take and record vital signs as ordered.
• Ensure safe transfers and ambulation.
• Assist exercises per plan of care.
• Document patient status and report changes to nurse supervisor.
• Perform and assist with simple procedures as directed.
