Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide daily living and personal care in patients' homes following an established care plan.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, feeding, and safety, document care provided, and communicate with the nurse supervisor to ensure high-quality care. CPR certification and state training are required; flexible part-time hours and a competitive salary accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• Participation and completion of Maxim’s competency program.
• CPR certification is required as part of state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with a plan of care including baths, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, and feeding as directed.
• Take and record vital signs as ordered and document results.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range of motion per care plan.
• Provide observation and reporting of patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment and home safety practices.
