Job summary

Mederi Caretenders Hospice in Florida is seeking a Home and Community Based Services Aide to support a client at home, providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments while using EVV to document care.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license with insurance, CPR certification, and the ability to work independently in diverse home settings.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of client characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
