Job summary

Mederi Caretenders Hospice in Florida is looking for a Home and Community Based Services Aide to help clients remain in their own homes with compassionate care. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and support household tasks.

This role requires reliable transportation, CPR certification, and the ability to work flexible hours with sensitivity to diverse client needs.

Qualifications

• Current driver\'s license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently
• Ability to work in diverse home settings regardless of client background
• State-specific: Florida training requirements or AHCA competency testing

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation)
• Support household tasks, meals, and accompany clients to appointments
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment and respond promptly to client needs
