Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors is seeking a compassionate Non-Medical Caregiver to support seniors in their own homes in Denver, CO. You will help clients maintain independence, safety, and quality of life per each care plan.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, mobility support, errands, meal prep, and emotional companionship. Requires reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks; caregiving experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background checks.
• Caregiving experience is preferred but not required; compassionate individuals are welcome.
• Reliable transportation is required; a personal vehicle is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and hygiene assistance: standby support with showering, dressing, toileting, grooming, hair and nail care.
• Light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, tidying kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Mobility assistance: walking, transfers, fall prevention, general mobility support.
• Shopping and errands: grocery shopping, medication pickups and other essential errands.
• Meal preparation: simple, nutritious meals and hydration reminders.
• Emotional support and companionship: friendly interaction and engagement with daily activities.
