Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking a compassionate caregiver for the Oswego location to support daily living activities with safety, comfort, and dignity. You will work with clients and families to tailor care plans, provide personal care, meal support, medication reminders, and accompany clients to appointments, while documenting care and communicating with the care team.

The role requires a high school diploma, CPR and First Aid certification, prior caregiving experience, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Prior caregiving experience.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.
• Strong communication skills and basic literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Administer medication reminders and report health changes.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and community activities.
• Document care and communicate with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
