Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors is seeking a compassionate Non-Medical Caregiver to support seniors at home in Fort Lupton, Colorado. You will follow individualized care plans, help with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, shopping, meals, and emotional support to promote independence and safety.

Applicants should be at least 18, have reliable transportation, and be able to pass Colorado background checks. Caregiving experience is a plus, but compassionate learners are welcome.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required; a personal vehicle is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass Colorado background checks (CBI) and CAPS.
• Caregiving experience is welcome but not required.
• Strong communication, dependability, and a caring attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide standby personal care and hygiene support (showering, dressing, toileting, grooming) as per care plans.
• Assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Support mobility including walking, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Help with shopping, errands, and medication pickups as needed.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with hydration and reminders.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to encourage engagement in daily activities.
