Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors remain safe and independent at home in Wheaton, IL. This full/part-time, in-person role requires 1+ year of home care experience and a strong bedside manner to support clients with daily living activities and mobility.

You will train on caregiving tasks, follow care plans, and communicate effectively with clients and coordinators.

Qualifications

• Previous home care experience of 1+ years.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Must be very reliable.

Responsibilities

• Medication reminders.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Follow the Care plan.
