Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for weekend shifts at clients' homes in North Carolina. The Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM schedule offers meaningful home care responsibilities and direct patient support.

You will perform essential nursing tasks, assist with daily living activities, monitor changes, and document care per Plan of Care. DFS certification and strong communication are required; lifting and physical tasks are part of the role, with a

Qualifications

Maintain DFS certification.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Effective communication skills including reading, writing and following directions.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing.
Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care as assigned.
Assist with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
Support transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as directed by supervising clinicians.
Prepare meals considering client dietary needs.
Provide companionship and activities based on client needs.
Light housekeeping as assigned.
Maintain accurate records and report changes.
Complete EVV plan tasks and timesheets as required.
Follow Plan of Care and uphold patient privacy and confidentiality.
