Job summary
Salus Homecare is seeking Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers for multiple shifts in South Bay including Torrance, Long Beach, Carson, and surrounding areas. Roles involve companionship, basic personal care, and assisting with daily activities in clients' homes.
We offer part-time and full-time opportunities with varying pay rates. Training, mileage reimbursement for drivers, and benefits are available to eligible staff.
Qualifications
- Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) required by CA state or ability to obtain with Salus assistance.
- TB test within 90 days of start.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
- Physical capability to perform all job functions.
- Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving with clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship to clients.
- Arrive to clients' homes on time.
- Assist with personal care: bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, mobility.
- Transport clients to appointments and activities.
- Turn, reposition, and move clients between beds, wheelchairs, and seats.
- Demonstrate flexibility to meet clients' needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA standards.
- Report abnormal findings or conditions to office.
