Job summary

Salus Homecare - Los Angeles is currently seeking Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers to fill multiple cases across South Bay, including Torrance, Long Beach, Carson, Rancho Palos Verdes, San Pedro and surrounding areas. We have mornings, weekends and overnight shifts available.

Part-time 4-6 hour shifts ($20.00-$23.00) and full-time 8-12 hour shifts ($19.00-$20.00) start immediately. Candidates must be dependable, compassionate and able to assist with personal care tasks and mobility, while

Qualifications

• TB Test within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to perform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Arrives to clients home in a timely manner
• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparations and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Turning, repositioning and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the client
• Maintains confidentiality of all clients information according to HIPPA standards
• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
• Represents the company with a positive image at all times
