Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Home and Community Based Services Aide to provide compassionate in-home support, assist with daily living activities, and help clients remain safely in their own homes. You will monitor health status, document changes, and coordinate with families and care teams.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, access to transportation, CPR (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), and 6+ months of home care experience.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
