Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide compassionate non-medical care to clients in Pierce County under assigned plans of care. The role requires evenings and weekends as needed and travel to client locations.

Qualified applicants must be 18+, fluent in English, and hold a valid CNA or Home Care Aide license. Training in mental health and dementia care is highly preferred. Compliance with Washington state background checks and driving requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• Licensed CNA or Home Care Aide (HCA) required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care to clients in home settings.
• Follow client Plan of Care and ensure safety during daily activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living (feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting, mobility).
• Provide transportation and accompany clients as needed.
• Support with housekeeping, meal planning, shopping, and errands as directed.
