Job summary

Addus Homecare is urgently hiring Home Care Aides to support seniors and disabled clients in their homes across Bernalillo, Moriarty, Rio Rancho, and surrounding NM areas. The role is on-call for 5 days per week with 40 hours weekly (20 hours guaranteed).

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, and help with household tasks while maintaining client independence. The position requires weekend availability, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation with valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Call the office each morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans for each client and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide or assist with routine house cleaning, meals, and laundry.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
