Job summary

Apploi seeks compassionate cooks to prepare meals for residents, following established recipes and dietary guidelines. You will handle food safely, manage kitchen inventories, and support fellow staff in daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include delivering meals across meals and shifts assigned by the Dietary Director, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. This role emphasizes empathy, integrity, and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Handle and store raw materials, cooked food, and non-food supplies properly
• Order, restock, and maintain inventories for kitchen supplies and equipment
• Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Follow established recipes when preparing meals
• Prepare ingredients in accordance with menu requirements
• Adhere to food health and safety procedures
• Cook, clean, and assist other staff in daily operations
• Deliver food in a fast-paced environment
• Work shifts as assigned by the Dietary Director
