Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of dietary experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Sanitation certificate required or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Ability to prepare a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and food service practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals according to established menus and dietary requirements.
• Prepare food in large quantities while maintaining quality, taste, and presentation.
• Follow special dietary restrictions and provide appropriate alternatives when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and food preparation area.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, residents, and others to perform responsibilities.
