Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and search new patients and those transporting patients upon arrival.
• Review prospective admissions against approved criteria, policies and procedures.
• Schedule assessments of voluntary patients.
• Respond promptly to inquiry calls.
• Handle clerical duties such as paperwork, data entry and phones.
• Gather required clinical and demographic data from patients and sources.
• Assist patients and families in seeking treatment.
• Register patient to the assigned program with counselor support.
• Complete admission paperwork accurately and distribute it to staff.
• Refer inquiries to other agencies when not appropriate for facility admission.
• Ensure all patient information is received and appointments with health personnel are made.
• Coordinate with referral sources and transportation arrangements for patients.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.
