Responsibilities

• Assists with the preparation for services including delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes; ensures proper care and storage.
• Prepares documents related to services and cremations; supports remains preparation as directed.
• Operates office tasks: phones, fax, computer, multi-line phone system, debit card machine, postage meter, stereo/video systems.
• Runs errands for supplies, documents and flowers.
• Acts as an usher, may park cars or assist with transportation for services.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensures refreshments are available where permitted by law and appropriate.
