Job summary

Hillside Memorial Park in Akron, OH is seeking a Sales Counselor who helps families choose funeral and cemetery services with care. You’ll build relationships, manage leads, and guide purchasing decisions with compassionate consultative selling.

Earn from $50,000 to $80,000 in your first year through uncapped commissions or a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, plus paid training during 6 weeks. Proficiency with HubSpot CRM and the ability to work some evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, especially Spanish/Chinese/Tagalog/Vietnamese/Arabic.
• One year of sales or relationship-based experience preferred.
• Experience with CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and advise on products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and related merchandise.
• Build a pipeline via leads, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities.
• Follow up with prospects throughout the sales process.
• Use HubSpot to track leads and sales activity.
• Attend funeral and memorial services to support families.
