Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and other keepsakes.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, maintenance.
• Assists with preparation of remains and operation of crematory as permitted by law.
• Answers phones, operates office equipment and devices.
• Run errands for supplies and floral deliveries.
• Acts as usher and may assist with parking and transportation for services.
• Drives Funeral Home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensures refreshments are available where permitted by law.
• Assists with visitations, memorial and funeral services and associated setups.
• Greets client families and provides information and assistance.
