Service Corporation International is seeking a Funeral Services Assistant in Bastrop, TX. You will prepare spaces for services, assist with deceased preparation, greet families, and drive them as needed. You will assist with office tasks, data entry, and vehicle maintenance while ensuring compassionate, respectful service to families during difficult times.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• No prior work experience is required; funeral industry experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services (dressing, jewelry, transport).
• Greet visitors, provide programs, answer questions, and share funeral information.
• May serve as pallbearer and assist families in transportation to cemetery site.
• Provide office support: phones, data entry, mail processing, and reception duties.
• Transport documents, mementos, and flowers; maintain vehicles and equipment.
