Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking Funeral Attendants to support funeral services, prepare rooms, greet families, and assist with deceased preparation. The role includes driving and assisting with ceremonies, with work beyond standard hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities span client-facing tasks, office support, and vehicle maintenance. Prior funeral industry experience is preferred, but not required, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification/License: Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services.
• Prepare rooms for services and arrange chairs, tables, guest books, flowers, mementos.
• Greet visitors, provide programs, answer questions, and give funeral services information.
• May serve as pallbearer.
• May drive families to cemetery site.
• After services, remove and store company property and deliver keepsakes.
