Sci Corp in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Funeral Services Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support for funeral operations, greet the public, answer questions, and assist at services as needed.

This role requires compassionate, professional conduct, proficiency with MS Office, and a valid driver's license; previous customer service experience is preferred. Training will be provided, with opportunity to support families and uphold our values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsabilités

• Prepares for services to include delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and other keepsakes; ensures proper care and storage of items.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, maintenance, as directed by management.
• Assists with preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting, or operation of crematory as permitted by law.
• Performs office duties such as answering phones, operating fax, computer, multi-line phone system, debit card machine, etc.
• Run errands for floral delivery, supplies, documents, etc.
• Serves as usher and may park cars or perform transportation duties.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensures refreshments are available where allowed by law.
• Assist with visitations, memorial and funeral services including setup and dressing of remains.
• Greets clients and provides information and assistance entering the office.
• Accommodates family needs during a service or visitation.
• May wash and clean funeral home vehicles.
