Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services by delivering and setting up flowers, chairs, caskets, urns and mementos.
• Prepares documents related to services and maintenance as directed.
• Assists with preparation of remains and supervision of service-related tasks as permitted by law.
• Answers phones, handles office duties and operates multi-line phones and equipment.
• Runs errands for floral deliveries and supplies as needed.
• Acts as usher and may assist with vehicle transportation for services.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensures refreshments are available where allowed by law.
• Greets families and provides information at the office.
