Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases; ability and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services including arranging floral items, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, maintenance as directed by management.
• Assists with handling remains and operating crematory per legal and company policy.
• Performs office duties including answering phones, using multi-line system, and related equipment.
• Run errands for supplies and floral deliveries.
• Acts as usher, guides attendees, and may park cars or handle transportation.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensures refreshments are available (where allowed by law).
• Assists with visitations and funeral services, setting up chapels and caring for remains.
