Job summary

sci is seeking an associate to support funeral operations and provide clerical assistance. You will meet the general public, answer questions, and help with funeral and cremation information, while handling phones and office tasks with courtesy.

Responsibilities include setting up service spaces, assisting with visitations, and supporting transportation and preparation of remains. A high school diploma and compassionate, team-oriented approach are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services, including setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, and keepsakes for client families.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, maintenance.
• Assists with preparation of remains and possibly operation of crematory as permitted by law.
• Answers phones and handles office duties and equipment.
• Run errands and assist with transportation needs, including parking and vehicle care.
• Greet client families and provide information, coordinating with funeral home staff.
• Supports visitations, memorial and funeral services as needed.
