Job summary

Service Corporation International in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Funeral Services Assistant to provide clerical and frontline support for funeral operations. Qualifications

Prior customer service and/or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, and keepsakes.
Prepare documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance.
Assist with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting.
Perform office duties: answering phones, fax, computer, multiline phone system, debit card machine, and more.
Run errands for floral deliveries, supplies, and documents.
Serve as usher; park cars or handle transportation as needed.
Drive funeral home vehicles for services and transporting families.
Ensure refreshments are available where allowed by law.
Assist at visitations, memorials, and services including setup and item delivery.
