Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepares service-related documents, cremations, maintenance as directed by management.
• Assists with preparation of remains including dressing and lifting, or operation of crematory as permitted by law.
• Answer phones, operate multi-line system, and handle office tasks (fax, computer, debit machine, postage, etc.).
• Run errands for supplies or flowers and assist with transportation as needed.
• Serve as usher, park cars, or handle transportation for services.
• Drive Funeral Home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensure refreshments are available where allowed by law.
• Assist visitations, memorials and funeral services with setup and coordination.
