Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to use a computer and type for data entry in systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services, including dressing and transporting as needed.
• Prepare rooms for services and maintain cleanliness of chairs, tables, guest books, flowers, keepsakes, and urns.
• Greet visitors, provide programs, answer questions, and share funeral service information.
• May serve as pallbearer or drive families to cemetery sites.
• After services, assist with removal, cleaning, storage of company property, and handling mementos and flowers.
• Answer phones, screen callers, notify staff of appointments, and escort guests to rooms.
• Maintain reception area and refreshments; prepare memorial materials; perform mailroom tasks.
• Transport documents, family mementos, flowers, and other items safely to destinations; may transport deceased.
