Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: compassion, integrity, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services: floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns and keepsakes.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, maintenance as directed by management.
• Assists with preparation of remains including dressing and lifting remains.
• Answers phones and operates office equipment and multi-line phone system.
• Greets and assists client families entering the office for information and help.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and transportation of families.
• Supports visitations, memorials and funerals with setup and coordination.
