Job summary

Responsibilities

• Arrange and set up for services: flowers, chairs, caskets, urns, keepsakes.
• Prepare documents for services, cremations and maintenance as directed.
• Assist with embalming prep and handling of remains per policy and law.
• Operate office equipment and answer phones politely; manage multiple systems.
• Run errands for supplies and floral deliveries as needed.
• Serve as usher; assist with transportation and parking as required.
• Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Ensure refreshments are available when permitted by law.
• Support visitations, memorials and funeral services; assist with setup.
• Greet clients and provide information at the office; assist as needed.
• May assist with vehicle cleaning and upkeep when required.
