Job summary

Responsibilities

Provide clerical and administrative support for funeral operations.
Greet client families and respond to questions with information on services.
Prepare for services: floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns and keepsakes.
Assist with visitations, memorial and funeral services: setup, dressing remains, delivery of items.
Answer phones and operate office equipment; run errands for supplies and deliveries.
Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups; usher when needed.
Ensure refreshments are available where allowed by law.
Prepare documents related to services and cremations; attend monthly staff meetings.
