Job summary

Sci Corp in Dallas, TX is seeking a sales trainee to learn the funeral services industry, product options, and CRM and contracting software. Through the training program you will complete coursework, pass exams, and develop skills to build a client-focused sales process.

You will meet with client families at the funeral home or virtually, present options, and work with a compassionate team to meet cultural needs while striving to exceed revenue targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain insurance license as required by state/province.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems preferred.
• Evenings and weekends availability.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusting relationships with prospective and existing client families to generate sales leads.
• Take initiative to contact prospective clients and schedule sales appointments to meet prospective client’s schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Applying listening and empathy skills facilitates prospective client through the pre-planning process and selection of services and property that most appropriately meet their needs.
• Shows property and property features to prospective families for both pre and at-need sales.
• Explains insurance product features and completes sales and contracts.
• Utilize CRM software to source leads and develop sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with Funeral Director and family on pre-need property or mausoleum sales.
• Seek coaching to improve sales cycle, techniques, software proficiency, and product knowledge.
