Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent
• 1 - 2 years of office clerical or customer service experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Compassion, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Prepares death certificates, prayer cards and related documents
• Completes required permits and/or certificates
• Processes Veteran’s Paperwork and marker monument placement paperwork
• Goes over orders and coordinates memorial products and related storage
• Receives and processes payments and contracts
• Greets family members and provides information on services offered
• Assists with obituaries and liaises with location staff as needed
• Maintains professional relationships with county clerks, medical examiners and physicians
