Cypress Lawn Funeral Home seeks a dependable, positive, full-time administrative assistant to support funeral service teams with scheduling, client communications, and paperwork.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Publisher, with the ability to multitask in a compassionate, fast-paced environment. Onsite position with benefits including health coverage and a 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Assists in the coordination of funeral arrangements and service scheduling.
• Compassionately and efficiently initiates service with client families upon receiving requests.
• Communicates with physician or coroner's offices to completes the death certificate and various permits.
• Orders death certificates from the county health departments and assures that they reach our client families promptly.
• Prepares printed stationery goods for funeral services, such as memorial folders, prayer cards, etc.
