Job summary

Park Lawn Corporation is seeking a Funeral Director for our Terrace Park location. You will oversee the preparation, planning, and execution of funeral and memorial services, ensuring the needs of families are met with compassion and professionalism.

The role requires a four-year degree and licensed Funeral Director status, with duties spanning client consultations, service coordination, and staff supervision. A valid driver's license and strong computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years licensed Funeral Director experience.
• Valid Funeral Director license with good standing across states.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• English fluency required; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consult with client families to design services meeting end-of-life memorialization expectations.
• Present all merchandising and service options to client families.
• Obtain information needed to complete obituaries, death certificates, burial permits, and insurance.
• Coordinate service arrangements with clergy and other participants.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct visitations and services.
