Job summary

Park Lawn Corporation seeks a Funeral Director to lead the preparation, planning, and execution of funeral and memorial services. You will ensure client families receive comprehensive merchandising and service options and coordinate with clergy and other participants to deliver compassionate, respectful ceremonies.

The role requires a valid Funeral Director license, a four-year degree or equivalent, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, supervise staff, and guide families through the process

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as a licensed Funeral Director.
• Valid and applicable state Funeral Director License; reciprocal across states and in good standing.
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Consult with client families or legal representative to design services meeting end-of-life memorialization expectations.
• Present merchandising and service options to client families.
• Obtain information needed for obituaries, death certificates, burial permits, and insurance.
• Coordinate service arrangements with clergy and involved organizations.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct visitations and services.
