Job summary

Park Lawn Corporation is seeking a dedicated Funeral Director to oversee the preparation, planning, and execution of funeral services for client families in Colorado. You will ensure all merchandising options are presented, documents completed, and services coordinated with clergy and other participants.

The role requires a licensed Funeral Director with at least two years of experience, strong empathy, and excellent teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent; licensed Funeral Director preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as a licensed Funeral Director.
• Valid state Funeral Director License in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Consult with client families to design services meeting end-of-life memorialization expectations.
• Present merchandising and service options to client families.
• Obtain information needed for obituaries, death certificates, and burial permits.
• Coordinate service arrangements with clergy and other participants.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct visitations and services.
• Oversee staff during services and ensure professional representation of the location.
• Prepare the deceased (dressing and casketing); arrange and stage viewing areas.
• Direct and usher families and attendees to and from the service.
• Arrange and coordinate shipment of remains when needed.
• Instruct and supervise Apprentice Funeral Directors on services and paperwork.
